Energiek Alphen social partner of VV Koudekerk
Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn has entered into a social partnership with the board of VV Koudekerk. With this partnership, the energy cooperative wants to call on members of the football club to request energy advice and to take energy-saving measures at home. Earlier this year, Energiek Alphen already committed itself as a social partner to six other football clubs and to the PWA Bad in Koudekerk.

‘Score a free energy advice’. This is the appeal Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn is making to visitors to the Prins Willem Alexander Bath in Koudekerk aan den Rijn. Both organisations concluded a social partnership this week, at the opening of the new bathing season. With the intention of drawing the attention of as many visitors to the pool as possible to the possibilities of saving energy at home. “The PWA Bath is very far with that,” states chairman Erik de Ruijter of Energiek Alphen. “If you want to get started at home too, but are not sure where to start, a free energy consultation is a good first step.”

The Salting Scheme ends, now what?
At the end of this year, the net-metering scheme will end. This will have no financial consequences for participants in Zon op Alphen, unless you also have solar panels on your own roof and partly use the electricity you generate with them yourself and partly feed it back to the grid. Warning of phishing emails
Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn warns members, volunteers and relations against phishing emails. Recently, one of our e-mail accounts was abused for sending spam. This mailbox also contained personal data, such as names and e-mail addresses of volunteers, participants and/or people involved. This kind of information is unfortunately used by malicious people to send highly targeted and credible phishing emails.

From energy advice to concrete measures
Our Energy Coaches carried out 174 advice sessions in the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn in 2025, 42 of which were carried out in the last quarter. This included some follow-up calls from residents who had already received advice earlier, such as in Hazerswoude-Rijndijk.

PWA Bad buys power from Zon op Alphen|om
Some of the energy produced by Zon op Alphen|to generated by solar farm Rijnvicus will now go directly to the Prince Willem-Alexander Bath in Koudekerk aan den Rijn. The boards of both organisations have concluded a contract to this effect. With this so-called Zelflevering+ agreement, the PWA Bad is assured of sustainable, locally generated electricity - at a favourable rate.

Campaign: receive complimentary energy advice
Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn has entered into a social partnership with six football clubs in the municipality. The energy cooperative wants to encourage members of these clubs to request energy advice and take measures to save energy at home. The first clubs signed the social partnership agreement this week.

Smarter Together programme for insulation measures and heat pump advice
As part of the Samen Slimmer Energie (Smarter Energy Together) initiative by the Hazerswoude-Rijndijk Oost Village Council and Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn, a tender process for various home insulation measures is running until 15 December. It is intended for residents who want to take concrete steps to install glass, window frame and floor/ground insulation, or a green roof. Residents can also request a consultation about heat pumps.
