Smarter together: tender process for insulation measures
As a follow-up to the Samen Slimmer Energie evenings held in recent months, the village consultative body Hazerswoude-Rijndijk Oost and Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn have set up a quotation process for various insulation measures. This trajectory makes it easy to request no-obligation quotes from selected companies, such as for window frame, glass and crawl space insulation. If desired, Energiek Alphen assists residents in requesting and assessing the quotation.
This year, five information evenings were held by the Village Council, in collaboration with Energiek Alphen and Actief Rijnwoude. The last evening, on Thursday 13 November, focused on insulation measures that are specifically applicable to houses from the different construction periods in Rijndijk-Oost. As a resident, you can implement these measures individually or together with your neighbours. The measures are summarised in a series of flyers; during the information evening, they were explained by Energy Coaches from Energiek Alphen.
“Various residents have now registered their interest in glass, window frame and floor/ground insulation, or a green roof. They can now get started. As Energy Coaches, we have spoken to a number of companies that are familiar with the local situation and can therefore make a suitable offer. Residents can register for this via our website,” says coordinator Gijs Pool of Energiek Alphen. “By joining forces with neighbours or residents elsewhere in the neighbourhood, cost savings can be achieved. A neighbourhood approach has even been set up for green roofs. But residents are of course completely free to choose their own supplier.”
