Before the energy consultation, an Energy Coach will make an appointment to visit your home. Together, you will take a tour of the house and discuss possible measures to save energy (and therefore reduce your energy bill).

In the days following the home visit, the Energy Coach will draw up a report summarising the items discussed and providing advice on possible measures. Financing and/or subsidy options will also be included in the report, if applicable. In the event of unexplained heat loss, it may be advisable to have a thermal scan are advised.
Please note: are you moving house and would you like to request a heat scan for your new home? If so, please enter the address of the new house in.

The energy advice is non-binding. The resident decides whether the measures will be implemented. If desired, the Energy Coach will remain in contact and provide additional information, including about any follow-up steps. If residents want support in implementing measures, an Energy Coach or another volunteer from Energiek Alphen can help. This could include requesting and comparing quotes, selecting a supplier/contractor or applying for subsidies.

*1) The Hoom File
A personal account will be created in the Hoomdossier by Energiek Alphen. You will receive an email to confirm your account. You can also set your password via that link. *2) Inspection by the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn
The council funds the energy coaches, so the home visit and advice are free for you. To check the home visits, the council asks us to give them the contact details of the people we visited just once. The council might get in touch with you to ask about your experience and the results of the home visit.

• Energiek Alphen will send a confirmation of your request within a few minutes. If you have not received a confirmation after five minutes, please check your spam folder. If you cannot find the email there either, please send an email to energiecoach@energiekalphen.nl.
• Energiek Alphen will create a housing file for you at HOOM. You will receive a personal link to the housing file.
• In the housing file, you can enter your details about energy consumption, living situation and the property. This file also contains the advice given by the Energy Coach following their visit to the property.
• An Energy Coach will contact you to arrange a date and time for the consultation. Click here for an overview of our Energy Coaches.
• When the Energy Coach visits, you will receive a gift to help you save energy (click on the button below to view the gifts). You can indicate which gift you would like to receive in the HOOM file.
