Welcome to Energiek
Alphen on the Rijn

Coöperatie Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn is a local organisation with volunteers who are committed to sustainable energy and energy saving in the municipality. We advise and support residents in using energy consciously. We also encourage sustainable choices to save energy and to generate and share sustainable energy ourselves. Our ultimate goal for all residents, organisations and businesses is an energy-neutral municipality, where energy is affordable and its supply is secure and reliable.

In 2019, Energiek Alphen realised, under the name Sunshine in Alphen the construction of two solar parks. In recent years, our Energy Coaches have provided more than 1,800 energy recommendations to residents of the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn.

We are currently carrying out various projects, which focus on sustainability measures, future opportunities for generating and sharing sustainable energy by residents, businesses and organisations. And: raising awareness of sustainable energy behaviour among residents of our municipality.

Would you like to join Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn? Then sign up as a volunteer. You will automatically become a member (free of charge) and stay informed about our activities.
