Energy cooperatives are our local energy producers. We make our neighbourhoods, villages, towns and regions more sustainable by developing various types of energy projects, such as solar power stations and wind farms. We supply the electricity generated by these projects to our customers locally. The best price for energy

Compared to our competitors, our energy prices are becoming increasingly cheaper. Because we are a non-profit organisation, we only have to pay for the generation facilities and a number of people who work there on a daily basis. As our costs remain virtually unchanged as our collective grows, we can continue to make our energy prices slightly cheaper than those of our competitors.

Gas with CO2 compensation

Sustainability is our top priority. That is why our goal is to make our heat supply completely sustainable by 2030, so that fossil gas is no longer needed. Because gas is not yet 100% sustainable, we offset the gas we supply. We currently do this by planting trees and shrubs in Dutch food forests. This not only offsets CO2 emissions, but also contributes to greater biodiversity and sustainable food production at the local level. Read more.
